TIME & PERIOD OF COMING OF KALKI-AVTAR (NAR & NARAYAN)

Prophecies given in Hindu Scriptures are surprisingly accurate. Most of such prophecies have been mentioned in Kalki Puran, a Sub Puran written about 5000 years ago by “Krishna Dwaipayn Vyas” (Ved Vyas, who has compiled all the Purans. His actual name was Maharshi Krishna Dwaipayn titled as Vyas. He was contemporary of Pandavs and Bhagwan Krishna. He was son of Marshi Parashar and Satyavati. Satyavati remarried to King Shantanu, forefather of pandavs and father of famous Bheeshma) at the time of appearance of Bhagwan Krishna. Other saints as “Bhakt Soordas and some Sikh guru have also mentioned prophecies regarding Him.

In order to understand and calculate these prophecies we are required to be conversant with the prevailing method of calculating time in the scriptures. Conception prevailing in the Hindu scholars is that the age of Kaliyug is equal to 4,32,000 human years. Similarly the total period of all the four ages (Yug) has also been multiplied as 43,20,000 years. This is due to committing blunder in evaluating the ratio given in the Sanskrit verses. It is surprising to note that in support of their conception the translators of Scriptures have polluted the verses and altered the times. As Kalki Puran is not a popular book being in abstruse language. Thank God they could not change the verses in it.

So we refer a Sanskrit verse from Kalki Puran.

“DWADSHABD SAHSREN DEVANAMCHA CHATUR YUGAM
CHATWARI TREENI DWAI CHEKAM SAHSRA GANITAM MATAM” (1)

It means that one DEV YUG and CHATUR YUG is of twelve thousand year. This should be divided proportionately in the ratio of four, three. Two and one according to the Arithmetic law in Sanskrit.

It is really surprising that this verse of Kalki Puran has specifically mentioned to apply the Arithmetic law. What is this Arithmetic Law?

An arithmetic Law was framed by the Sanskrit astrologers at a later stage before these Purans were written. Therefore we must apply it while translating such verses.

“ANKANAM VAMTO GATIH! SANKHYANAM DAXINO GATIH!!

Idea behind it is that when independent figures are given in the verse they should be read from reverse. When a number is given it should be read in right way as usual. It seems that in order to facilitate the arithmeticians this rule was framed to differentiate the figures from the digital number.

So we are required to apply this important law in the correct translation of the verse.
Therefore the meaning should be that the total period of all four Yugas is equal to 12000, years which is also the age of one DEV YUG. The division of this period in four ages will therefore be in the order and ratio of one, two, three and four (not Four, three, two and one) as mentioned in the verses.

According to Hindu concept the Manifestations are generally appears in the joining period in the end. Bhagwan Ram manifested in the last joining period of TRETA YUG and Krishna in the end of DWAPAR YUG in the joining period of DWAPAR YUG. Similarly the Kalki Avtar must also appear in the last years of Kaliyug i.e. The ending joining period of 400 years.

This joining period in the end is also known as the waiting period or PRATEEXYA KAL. As we are concerned with only Kaliyug so we will see whether there are some verses mentioning the age of Kaliyug only which is of 4800 years actually in the light of above explanation. Yes, there are specified verses in various scriptures giving the age of Kaliyug independently.

REFERENCES FROM SCRIPTURES ABOUT AGE OF KALIYUG SPECIFICALLY

A) Reference from “SHREEMAD BHAGWAT MAHAPURAN”

“DIVYABDANAM SAHASRANTE CHATURTHE TU PUNAH KRITAM !
BHAVISYATI YADA NRINAM MAM ATMA PRAKASHKAM” !!

It means that Krit Yug (Sat Yug) will come after the expiry of four thousand divya years. Which will enlighten my mind and soul.

The period of 4000 years clearly indicating towards the actual age of Kaliyug.

B) Reference from VISHNU PURAN regarding KALIYUG

“TREENI LAXANI VARSHANAM DWIJ MANUSHYA SANKHYAYA.
SASHTHICHEV SAHASRANI, BHAVITYESH VAI KALIH.
SHATANI TANI DIVYANAM SAPT PANCH CHA SANKHYAYA NISHESHEN
BHAVISHATI TU PUNAH KRITAM.” (VISHNU PURAN)

It means:- “O Dwij! According to human calculations dividing sixty thousand by a number of seventy five there will be Kaliyug and after which a period of one hundred year (of joining period ) Satyug will come again.

This is an unchallengeable proof mentioning the actual age of Kaliyug. If we divide 3,60,000 by 75 we will get 4800 years. 360000/75= 4800
It seems that the author of Vishnu Puran knew that the future scholars will commit blunder in ascertaining the age of Kaliyug so the age of Kaliyug was narrated in this peculiar way.

C) Reference from GARG SAMHITA OF GARGACHARYAJI:
The chief religious priest of Yadu Vansh or Krishna has written the life history of Bhagvan Krishna in his famous book “Garg Samhita”. In one last chapter he has narrated one verse as below.

ABDASHCHATU SAHASRANI KALAU PANCH SATANI CHA
GATE GIRIVAREHI SHREENATHAH PRADUR BHAVISHYATI

It means that after a period of four thousand five hundred year of Kaliyug Sreenath (Vishnu) will appear from the Girivar (Name of the mountain Sumeru) this prophecy is indicating towards an approximate period of Kaliyug i.e. 4500 years after that Vishnu (The husband of Goddess Laxmi) will be manifested. (Shree – Goddess Laxmi; husband & Nath – Vishnu)

HOW THE SCHOLARS AND INTERPRETERS COMMITTED BLUNDER

It seems that when Hindi translation was needed the translator being ignorant of the arithmetical law ANKANAM VAMITO GATIH they translated the verses in the same order in which it was written. Thus they wrongly ascertained the age of Satyug as 4800 instead of 1200. Similarly they calculated the age of Kaliyug as 1200 instead of 4800. When they could not adjust it with some historical prediction they might have thought that these 1200 years are not human years. These seems to be Dev Versha. Committing another blunder in translating word Divya as Devya. The word ‘Divya’ or ‘Devya Varsha’ is known as Solar Year which is of 365 days in the astrology commonly known and while DEV VARSH is consisting of 360 human years.

So considering 1200 years as dev years they multiplied this number by 360
1200 x 360 = 4,32,000 of Kaliyug (Wrong Calculation)
Similarly 4800 x 360 = 17,28,000 Satyug (Wrong Calculation)

COMMENCEMENT OF KALIYUG

In several Purans it is clearly written that after the end of famous historical Mahabharat war Shree Krishna at the age of 120 years left this mortal world on the very last day of Dwapar Yug. At that time king Yudhisthir era was prevailing in India Named as ‘Yudhisthir – Abda’ which has now been lost. But an astronomical order of movement of group of stars has been mentioned in several scriptures which clearly indicate the exact time of the commencement of Kaliyug.

In BHAGVAT & VISHNU PURAN we find following verse:-

YADA MAGHAMYO YASYANTI POORVASHADHA MAHARSHYA !
TADAT NANDAT PRABHRATYESHAM KALIR VRIDI GAMISYATI !!

“O Mahrishi (Great Saint) when Saptrishi group of stars enters before Magha Naxtra (another group of stars surrounding the moon) Bhagvan Krishna left for His heaven by abode, the same time Kaliyug commenced but its effect was noticed when Saptrishi entered in Poorvashada Naxtra (10th after Magha Representing 1000 years) then Kaliyug will increase its strength when ‘Nanda dynasty will rule over the country Bharat.

Our chronological history starts from 326 years before Christ when GREAT KING ALEXANDER invaded India. At that time there was Nanda dynasty having 8-9 kings. The last king Maha Padma Nand was dethroned by Chandra Gupta Maurya. Approximately this was the time when Bhagvan Gautam Budhha and after two hundred years Jesus Christ appeared in different parts of the world. They brought the same message of non Violence Peace and love. One for eastern part and another for western part of universe.

Through this clear illustration we must now understand the Plan of God to establish the same one religion which is Religion of God. Therefore the commencement of Kaliyug took place in 2800 before Vikram and 2857 years Before Christ.

CHAPTER 2

END OF KALIYUG

An astronomical event of combination or situation of there important planets have been predicted in Bhagwat, Vishnu Puran and Mahabharat Scriptures.

YADA CHANDRASHCH SURYASHCH TATHA TISHYA VRIHSPATIH !
EAK RASHAU SAMESHYANTI TADA BHAVATI TATAH KRITAM. !!

It means that whenever the Sun, Moon, and Jupiter will reach in the Pushya group of stars (Naxatra) on Kark line or Rashi in similar situation then Satyug or Krityug is commenced.

This prediction is purely based on astronomical order on the basis of which all the astronomical calculation required for fixing the time and dates of the calendar year is based. Now the questions arises whether this situation of stars took place or not? Yes it has already happened.

Yes the author of the old book “CHETAWANI” Pt. Raj Narayan Shastri first time told the Hindu world in 1924 AD that the combination of the above mentioned stars will take place in Vikram Samvat 2000 during the mid month of Srawan on dark moon Amavashya on Sunday (at 17 gharee 53 pal). This date is coinciding with the modern calendar as 1st of August 1943 AD Sunday and time is by about 12 noon. This reality can be verified from the famous Vishwanath Kashee Panchang of Vikram Samvat 2000 which was published from the city Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, India.

In other Panchang (calendar) the combination chart at the time of Sunrise has been given but at noon after 12 or at 17 gharee 53 pals this astronomical event occurred.

So Kaliyug has since been over on 1st August 1947 or Shravan Amavashya Samvat 2000 Sunday at about midday.

Time & Year for Manifestation given in KALKI–PURAN

It is a matter of great wonder that some exact time given in Kalki-Puran in abstruse language are coincided with appearance of Bahá'u'lláh or Vishnu Yasha.

A) It has been stated in last pages that eighth Avtar of Bhagwan Vishnu in the person of Shree Krishna left this world on last day of Dwapar Yug and from the next day Kaliyug of 4800 years commenced this way it is therefore clear that the spirit of Vishnu will return to His original permanent dwelling residence (Hari Sadan) or Narayana’s Ashram. Badrikashram near Xeer Sagar, He immediately embarked on a spiritual Trans meditating on the absolute and Kalki-Puran continues only ? this meditation and fasting, the Shlok refers as the below:

EVAM VRITTATE DWADSHABDE DWADSHYAM PARNADINE !
SNATU KAMAH SAMUDREAHAM BANDHUBHI SAHITO GATAH !!

It means that the termination of this meditation and fast took place after a period of cycle of twelve years and twelth (month). At that time He along with His brothers and clansmen came to bathe in the ocean.

An exact time period is clearly mentioned in this Shlok in Dev Versha as Param Rishi Anant (as Dev) (a title given to Bhagwan Vishnu).

Therefore 12 should be multiplied by 360 being a Dev year is equal to 360 human years, and the other word Dwadshyam indicating towards a human year which is equal to 354 days given separately according to human year theory.
So 12 x 360 = 4320
1 x 354 = 354 means 4320 + 354 = 4674 years (Years of Kaliyug)

the Shlok is therefore is clearly indicating the period of 4,674 years of Kaliyug the duration of meditation fast 4800 years of Kaliyug ended in Vikram Samvat 2000 or in 1943 AD. But the above incident held before 4800 (-) 4674 = 126 Years before, So we will also subtract 126 years from V.E. 2000 or 1943 AD

2000 – 126 = 1874 V.E. 1943 – 126 = 1817 AD. (the birth of Bahá'u'lláh in Ocean of World)

This is the birth year of Bahá'u'lláh Who came in the ocean of human beings the world to take a bath. Only after two years in 1819 Báb also born and several other family members and leading Babis and Bahá'ís also born. We through this prediction can very well understand the divine plan of Almighty God.

B) Another prediction is found about the Surya Vanshi King Maru and Chandra Vanshi King Devapi. In several Scriptures it is mentioned that both of the above named Kings were sent for the meditation in the famous Kalap village of divine spirits. Both of the Kings were destined to return to help Kalki after their long meditation fast.

While they were meditating Maharshi Krishna Dwaipayan Vyas, who is also said to be in Kalap village approached them and asked that the hour of appearance of Kalki Avtar had since been reached. You Both should now terminate your fast and go in the world to help Kalki.

After termination of their long fast Both prayed to Kalki to appear. Kalki revealed before them. Kalki asked their introduction. Both replied prayerfully:

KALAP GRAM MA SADHYA VIDHI SATPASI ISTITHAM.
TAVAVTARAM VIGYAY VYASATSATYAVATI SUTAT
PRATEEXYA KALAM LAXABDAM KALE PRAPTSTAVANTIKAM
(It may be seen on page 269 to 271 of the book
MAITRYA AMITABHA appeared)

Twin kings Raja Maru and Devapi in their prayer to invisible Kalki introduced themselves and stated:

“We both were under meditation in Kalap Village following the true path of Tap. Knowing about your due Avtar from Satyabati’s son Vyas we are at this moment praying when one lakh abda (years) of the waiting period of Kaliyug have been over.”

Here we find an specific number of one hundred thousand abda which are Surya abda (of 24 hours day) we have already told that Prateexya Kal (waiting period of Kaliyug) is equal to 400 years in the end. We have already fixed its duration since 1543 to 1943 AD or 1600 to 2000 Vikram Era.

In order to draw years of 100, 000 days we should divide this number by 365.
100,000 / 365 = 273 (bal. 355) Approximately 274 years.

Therefore this is the exact period 274 years after 1543 A. D. or 1600 Vikram era.
1543 + 274 = 1817 AD 1600 + 274 = 1874 Vikram Samrat.

This is also the same time when Param Rishi Anant (Vishnu) or Narayan manifested. We know that 1817 A. D. or 1874 Vikram is the year of birth of Bahá'u'lláh.

C. Another time of Avtar of Bhagwan Vishnu Yashah is found in Kalki Puran which occurred in a prison call like that of Bhagwan Krishna. This has also been referred from Kalki Puran:-

SUMATYAM VISHNUYASH SA GARBH MADHAT VAISHNAVAM
GRAH NAXTRA RASHYADI SEVIT SHREE PADAMBUJAM

In this shlok the event of actual Kalki Avtar has been described. The shlok is indicating the event.:-
In the mind womb of Vishnuyash Vishnu entered. In symbolical figures a number has been stated –
Numerical value:

GRAH NAXTRA RASHI ADI SEVIT SHREEPAD AMBUJAM
9 27 12 AND 2 1000 0

As this is number so we will write in the same order. So by adding 92712 by 2000 total days 92712 + 20000 = 112712 days
We have already fixed 1,00,000 days up to 1817 A. D. so by dividing 12712 by 365 = 34 years 10 months 2 days.

So after 34 years 10 months 2 days after birth of Mirza Hussain Ali, this event occurred in the month of August 1852. In my opinion this is the time when Bahá'u'lláh was imprisoned in Siachal in Tehrán city as the further verse indicates the birth as of Krishna which occurred in a dark prison in Mathura capital of city of King Kans.

D. But the entire Bahá'í world is not aware of this happening. They could only know it in the year 1863 A. D. on the bank of the river Tigris near Baghdad when Bahá'u'lláh Himself declared. Another shlok indicated this time also in symbolical in abstruse way.

SHUKLA PAXASYA DWADASHYAM MADHAVE MASI MADHAV

It means that after a period of 12 in a fortnight Madhav in the month of Madhav appeared.

One fortnight (Pax) is equal to 15 days.
So 15 is equal to 400 400/15 x 12 = 320
12 is equal to

Therefore taking 320 years after 1543 = 1863 comes which is the year of Declaration of Bahá'u'lláh. Madhav month in the scriptures is generally named for the Hindu calendar month of Baisakh which coincides with April and May of Christian month prevailing.

CHAPTER 3

AN INVISIBLE INHABITANT BADRIKASHRAM OF NAR NARAYAN, THE TWIN MANIFESTATIONS

Inspired from the comments of Bahá'u'lláh in KITÁB-I-IQAN (The Book of Certitude) as:

“These great Souls are sent down from “An Invisible inhabitant’ I was in search of the whereabouts of this holy place. Recently during my studies of Hindu Scriptures (Purans) to my great surprise this invisible inhabitant is Badrikashram in the Elburz mountain in Mazandran province near mount Demavand. How did I arrive at this decision is given below in short for its detailed study I request you to go through the Book BHAGVAN NAR NARAYAN AND THEIR BADRIKASHRAM which is going to be printed in Hindi and very soon it will be translated in English and other regional languages. My research has wonderfully revealed the fact that Nar Narayan are the common twin Manifestation appeared in the person of Báb and Bahá'u'lláh or Kings Devapi and Maru under tap in Kalap village which is an invisible secret somewhere in the premises of mount ELBURZ in Mazandran province of Iran.

Point wise proofs are given below:

1) Badrikashram:- Literally means dwelling place where there are lot of Plum (Ber) trees. The branches of these trees are not thorny or straight but circular. It resembles with a fruit KANNOO in Iran.
2) This particular place is on the mountain SUMERU which is now called as ELBURZ.
3) The place of Nar Narayan is mentioned as VISHALAPURI or VIPUL PEAK which is literal translation of ELBURZ means a HIGH PLACE. EL – Place BURZ – High
4) The most important point of recognizing this place is a bluish mountain peak from which a flame of fire comes out. This particular mountain has been well described in the Purans.

a) This mountain is KEDARESHWAR MAHA LING or a great natural statue of Lord Shiva which is highly worshiped in India by making its small stone idols almost in each and every village or town. Those small idols are called SHIVLING OF STONES (PARTHIV LING)
b) Ramcharit Manas written by famous saint poet Tulsidas describes it in verses in Uttar Kand.

GIRI SUMERU UTTAR DISHI DOOREE !
NEELSHEEL EK SUNDER BHOORI !!

It means that there is a blue peak of mountain which is a peak of Sumeru which is very beautiful blue gray coloured.

c) This mountain is surrounded by a series of golden (Yellow) coloured mountains. A river is also surrounds the entire peak which has opening in one side (perhaps in north direction)
d) The flame of fire has been narrated as the GREAT JYOTIRLING (Shiv Puran)
e) There is an ENDLESS LIGHT in the whole of area which has been mentioned at several places in SKAND PURAN, AGNI PURAN, MATSYA PURAN & MAHABHARAT
f) This is also called as AGNI TEERTH or a holy place of fire worship.
g) MATSYA PURAN clearly says:-

TAD PRAKASH AHARNISHAM
Means “There is an endless light.”

h) Saint Tulsidas in Ram Charit Manas book Uttar Kand mentioned this “Endless Light” as:

PARAM PRAKASH ROOP DIN RATEE !
NAHI KACHHU CHAHIH DIYA GHRIT BATI !!

It means there is a Supreme Light visible during day and night which does not require a Chirag, Ghee, or Batti.

i) Saint Charan Dass of Delhi also mentioned this light in his book Bhakti Sagar as:

‘JYOTI JAGAT BICH JHALMAL JHALKE AGAM AGOCHAR PURI RAHA’

It means that there is a light in the middle of world lighting where that invisible God is appeared.

j) In another verse SWAMI CHARAN DAS mentioned:

SO GURU BIN VAH GHAR KAUN DIKHABE !
JIHI GHAR AGNI JALE JAL MAHEE VAH ACHARAJ DARSHABE !!

k) Now we have to see what is this light according to Iran’s history or geography.
There is a description of this light in History of Persia.
“The Iranian Paradise (BAHIST) :- This mysterious mountain rises from the earth above the stars into the sphere of Endless Light to the paradise of AHURA MAZDA (Abode of Song). It is the mother of mountains (THE DAMVAND) with its summit bathed in everlasting glory. Where there is no night, no sickness. The summit is touched with the flame.
History of Persia Vol. I Page 117

l) This particular place is known as “TEPURIYA” in Mazandaran where Tapurite lived under DAMAVAND
History of Persia Vol. I Page 284

1) Pilgrimage of Pandvas in Mahabharat Age about 4900 years Before now.

In Mahabharat famous warriors belonging to Pandu Vansh named Pandav of Mahabharat War have also gone for pilgrimage, of Badrikashram in Sumeru Giri and Xeer Sagar. Their guide was a great Saint (Rishi) named Dhaumya. Pandvas were exiled by Duryodhan for 13 years. During their exile they stayed for about 10 years in Gandhmadan forest of Ghandharvas (Afghanistan). Kandhar or Ghandhar was the country of Kuber (Karoo Ka Khajana) a king God of wealth. This journey began from Gandhmadan Van with the help of strong carrier persons of Ghatotkach (Son of Bheesen) a devil.
“Thus looking beautiful forests and gardens they proceeded towards Badrikashram. These devils (Raxas) were very swift. So they all brought them far within a short period. In the way they saw countries of Mlechas (Dirty thinkers) (A title commonly given to the west foreigners). they saw various mines of precious stones (Sangemarmar or Granites) and the mountains of various metals in the way. In that country they found many artisans, Kinnars, Gandharva (singing and dance lovers) and kim purushas (beautiful races). There were wild animals like monkeys, langoors, and buffallows. There were several rivers at various places. In this way they crossed UTTARKURU VARSH (In the north of Sumeru or Elburz). Then they saw the amazing mysterious mountain KAILASH (DAMAVAND) nearby there was the Ashram of Nar Narayan or Badrikashram.

That Ashram was full of trees loaded with flowers and fruits. They also saw there the beautiful tree of Badri (Plums). Its shadow was cool and dense and its leaves were round and smoothly delicate. There were very sweet fruits in it. Arriving to that Badri they all got down from the shoulders of the Raxas (Devils). Then they all began to look the beauty of that Ashram where Nar Narayan used to live. There was no darkness but due to dense greenery of trees sun was not visible as the sun rays were unable to penetrate. As soon as one enters in this place the feelings of hunger, thirst and sorrow was automatically vanished.

“The Ashram was surrounded with many saints (Rishi). There was the goddess of knowledge of Vedas i.e. Rick, Sam & Yajur Vedas. The peoples who were deprived of religion were not capable to enter into it. Only those persons who were brilliant like Sun and Fire and their hearts were purified from sins used to live in that place.” Their brilliance was like fire. They all were engaged in self study.
Mahabharat (Vanparb)

Guide priest Mahrishi Dhomy took Yudhistir (eldest Pandav) by hand and showed the entire place i.e. A huge mountain Mandrachal on the sea shore. He also showed Badrikashram (place of Narayan) which was already enlightened with its own light.
Mahabharat (Vanparb)

Beside this Asram there is Kalap Village in one hundred Yojans Naradji has mentioned its population about 84,000. The only way to enter in this village is through a long cave way which is not visible to an ordinary person. Detailed account of this place has been given in Skand Puran. The entire story seems to be unbelievable for a common person. It is a matter of discovery.

PROPHECIES REGARDING PLACE FROM WHICH KALKI WAS TO APPEAR

There is a common believe in Hinduism that Kalki Avatar will come from the city ‘SAMBHAL’. This is particularly found in Bhagwat Puran knowing this fact some Hindus have created several towns as Shambhal in their own state i.e. Utter Pradesh, Orissa and Tamil Nadu etc. An ordinary Hindu still believes that a tehsil town in district Moradabad named Sambhal is the same town from where Kalki would appear. It is interesting that during 1943 some greedy persons misused the feelings of innocent Hindu people and constructed 68 such spots in the town alone knowing that on the arrival of Kalki Avtar 68 places of pilgrimage will be revealed.

There is a slight differece between SHAMBHAL and SAMBHAL. In all the scriptures the word written is Shambhal and not Sambhal. In fact there is no place or city named as Shambhal in the entire world. We should therefore translate this word. Every Hindu knows well that ‘SHAMBH’ or ‘SHAMBHU’ is the famous name of Bhagwan Shiv or Shankar. So the translation of the word Shambhal is required to be done which is as following:-

SHAMBHAL = SHAMBH + AL

Which means ALAY OF SHAMBH or dwelling place of SHAMBHU. Now we have to examine whether the place of Bhagwan Shambhu has been mentioned in Kalki Puran or in Shiv Puran. Yes, there is a prayer of Shambhu in Kalki Puran in which the original place of Bhagwan Shambhu has been mentioned.

MERUR MADHYE BHUVANANAM CHA BHARATA
TAM ISAN VISHWA ROOPAM NAMAMI

It means that ‘O’ Shiva (Shankar or Shambhu) you are in the middle of the mountain Meru (Sumeru) and all the Bhuvans (14 in number). I bow down before your Vishwa shape Vishnu.

The above mentioned prayer shlok clearly indicates the place of Bhagwan Shambhu and their world shape Vishnu or Kalki. We can brought out the exact place of Kalki-Avtar. Therefore we can ascertain that Kalki-Avtar would appear from the mountain Sumeru which is situated in the middle of fourteen Bhuvans described well in the Scriptures. This of course cannot be in India as believed by common Hindus.

SHAMBHAL IS A CAPITAL CITY OF A COUNTRY

In Bhagwat Puran we find two descriptions of the place Shambhal in the beginning and in XIIth Skand (Part).

ATHASAU YUG SANDHYAYAM DASYU PRAYESHU RAJSU, !
JANITA VISHNUYASH SO NAMNA KALKI JAGATPATI !!

It means that during the joining period of two yugas (Kali and Sat yug) from a capital of a country, most of the people of which act as dacoits (backwards) the person named Vishnuyash will be born here He will be Kalki the master of the Universe.

So we have to locate the famous Sumeru which is not a small mountain but a long series of semi circular mountain surrounding a vast sea Xeer Sagar or now Caspian Sea. A separate geographical investigation is required. This is undoubtedly the mountain ELBURZ in the north of Iran which surrounds Caspean Sea.

The name of the capital city of Iran is Tihrán. If we take this word Tihrán in Hindi we see
TI + HARÁN TRI + HAR + AAN or AYAN

Every Hindu call Bhagwan Shambhu as Har reciting the slogan as HAR HAR MAHADEV. Therefore we can brought out that the capital city Tihrán is actually Shambhal usually named as TRIPUR in the Shiv Puran and other Scriptures.

KAILASH SHIKHAR ON SUMERU MOUNTAIN

A question can be raised about the original place of Shambhu or Shiv Shankar. Every Hindu very well know that mount Kailash is the original residence of Bhagwan Shambhu. This is located near a lake Mansarover in Himalaya Mountain in China territory. How this conception is prevailing in Hindus is not understood. Kailash is the most sacred mountain and all the Scriptures very clearly tell its existence on Sumeru Giri and not on Himalaya. Shiv Puran, Skand Puran, Sreemad Bhagwat and famous Mahabharat have given description of Mt. Kailash and its situation in Sumeru.

It is surprising to note that whatever the description given in the scripture exactly resembles with the mysterious mountain DAMVAND in ELBURZ. This is situated near Tihrán. The place around the peak is still called TAPORIA which sounds as Hindu word TAPO BHOMI. Means the place where the great saint and sages meditate. Damvand mountain is also known a mysterious peak of Elburz which is snow covered bluish coloured mountain surrounded by a river and golden yellow peaks. From a summit a flame of fire is still burning which causes melting of ice and making a small tank around the flame.

EVERLASTING LIGHT IN THE AREA:-

The everlasting flame of natural fire not only keeps the area warm but always enlightened. This has also been mentioned in the Hindu Scriptures very well.

TAD PRAKASH AHARNISHAM
(Matsya Puran)

PARAM PRAKASH ROOP DIN RATEE !
NAHI KACHHU CHAHIYE DIYA GHRIT BATEE !!
(Ram Charit Manas of Tulsidas)

JYOTI JAGAT BICH JAGMAG CHAMKE
AGAM AGOCHAR PURI RAHA
(Bhakti Sagar by Charan Das)

Its meaning is given below:
a) There is always a continuous light (Matsya Puran)
b) A great light is always visible which does not require a soil lamp, oil or cotton thread (Batti) (Ram Charit Manas)
c) In the middle of the world there is a light flamed from which that unknown and invisible God can be seen (Bhakti Sagar of Charan Das)

JYOTI STHAL SIKHAR IN SHIV PURAN

It is clearly mentioned in Shiv Puran that Bhagwan Shankar left the residence of mountain Himalaya which belonged to his father in law King Himvan, father of Goddess Parvati. He returned to Jyotisthal Shikhar of Sumeru which is only Mount Damavand in North Iran in Southern part of Elburz.

NAR-NARAYAN’S MEDITATING RESIDENCE BADRIKASHRAM

In Mahabharat Van-Parv a detailed account of pilgrimage performed by the famous Pandavas is found. Pandvas during there exile of twelve years journeyed to this place on the shoulders of GHATOT KACH and his servants. They crossed several western countries of uncivilized tribal (Mlechhas) and crossing Utter Kuru Desh (Present Tashkand) reached to mountain Kailash which has been described as full of mysteries and several wonders.

PARAS OR PERSIA DESH AND BHADRAPEETHE

The place of Bhagwan Vishnu has been located in the middle of lotus flower on a Bhadrapeeth which is nothing but a symbolized description of lotus like situation the literary translation of Bhadrapeeth is as below.

BHADRA - ARYANS (According to Sanskrit Dictionary)
PEETH - PLACE OF RESIDENCE OR AYAN (AAN)
ARYA + AAN = ARYA OR ERYA AAN = IRAN

SADHO ‘PERSIA DESH’ JAHAN BHESH NAHIN (CHARAN DASS)

The name Persia is clearly written in the verse.

COMMON PROPHECY OF BHAGWAT USUALLY NARRATED BY PANDITS (KATHA-VACHAK)

There is a famous prophecy of Bhagwat Puran which is generally told by various Hindu preachers and learns in Bhagwat KATHA SAPTAH (Week).

SHAMBHAL GRAMAH MUKHYASYA BRAHMANASYA MAHATMANAH !
BHAVNE VISHNUYASH SA KALKIH PRADUR BHAVISYATI !!

It means that in the house of Brahman chief of the village Shambhal who is a great soul (Mahatma) also, Vishnuyash will reveal Kalki

This prophecy pointing out to Bahá'u'lláh’s father Mirza Buzurg who was pious and chief of the villages Noor or Takur. Bahá'u'lláh born there and He would reveal Kalki.

AREA OF CAPITAL CITY SHAMBHAL

SAPTA YOJAN VISTEERNAM CHATURVARN JANAKULAM !
SURYA RASHMI PRATEEKASHAM PRASAD SHAT SHOBHITAM !!

In this shlok a short vision and area of the city Shambhal has been told as below.

The city Shambhal is inhabited in seven yojan which is equal to 7 x 8 =56 square miles. In this city the peoples of four varnas (groups) inhabited. There are hundreds of palacial buildings. (Perhaps white coloured) which look symbolically like sun rays.
Of course this is the vision of Tihrán city during the time of Bahá'u'lláh’s birth. Such type of city can never be an Indian city. 56 square miles area is very big for the cities of that time two hundred years before.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLAGE NEAR SHAMBHAL

It is really a matter of great surprise that somebody in his vision has already seen the village near Shambhal which seems the original village of Bahá'u'lláh perhaps the village Takur in Noor region. The Sanskrit shlok describing this particular village are referred as below from Kalki Puran.

SHAMBHAL GRAM NAGREE PATAKA DHWAJ SHALINEE
ARODH SUJAGHNA PRASAD VIPUL ISTANEE
MAYOOR CHOOCHAKA HANS SANGHHAR MANOHARA
PATVASO UDYOT DHOOMRA VASNA KOKIL SWANA
SAHAS GOPUR MUKHI VAMNETRA YATHANGANA
(Kalki Puran)

Similising with the various organs of a woman with the parts of the Shambhal Gram Nagree (village town) the Authar of Kalki Puran has given a detailed vision thereof.

Some flags and Jhandi are seen in Shambhal village town. The town is surrounded by a fortress wall (Chahar Deewar) in which there are circular obstacles like thigh of a woman. (Semi Circular Burzees). Several big palacial buildings look like the big breast of a woman. The knob of these ball is like that the mouth of a peacock (Mor). These places are surrounded by the long white meenars looking like the white long necks of swan. There are some tents of cloths enlightened in which some sound of chanting like that of Kokil (Indian Bulbul) is heard. They have blacked dresses (Siah Burqa or veils). The front door looks like the mouth of a cow having teeth like kangaroo on the top. The shape of the town is like that of a left eye. Which is round shaped in one side and angular in the other .

LOCATION OF SUMERU GIRI IN THE SCRIPTURE

From the various prophecies it is very clear that the place from which Kalki-Avtar should appear is the middle of a series of the sacred mountain SUMERU-GIRI. Himalaya is called “Achal” and “parvat” while SUMERU is called GIRI (pointed mountain) in GEETA.

This is just in middle of JAMBOO – DWEEP in BHARAT KHAND. It is like the fragrance filamental part of a lotus flower in middle. This has eight petals which have been symbolized as eight countries around it. Keeping the Sumeru in the middle the western country is “KETUMAL-VARSHA” in North there are three countries. Adjacent to Sumeru in North is Uttar Kuru Varsha in north of which Ramyak Varsha and then Hirnmay Varsha. In east of which is Bhadrashwa Varsh. The most important is Meru Varsha or Ilavrit Varsh. It is a matter of great importance that the old name of Iran was Elam and its habitants were being called as Elamites or Elamee. Elam may be the name of Ilavrit.

The situation of Sumeru has been described Semi Circular half moon like surrounding a big sea from three sides i.e. West, south and east. It is most important proof that there is no sea in between the mountain Himalaya while there is a big sea Caspian which is surrounded by the series of the mountain Elburz.

In Skand Puran the name of the mountain has been mentioned as VIPUL or GREAT which is exactly the literal translation of ELBURZ, we can verify the fact from a geographical map of the country Iran. One other remarkable description of the Elavrit-Varsh is that it is like the mouth of a Swine in west North. This peevliar Varsh (mouth of boar shape) can be verified from the map of Iran which is most interesting.

The above situation is supported by one shlok of the famous book GARG-SAMHITA written by GARGACHARYA JI.

BHARTANAM CHA KHANDANAM JAMBOO DWEEPE YATHA MUNE !
MADHYE SANRAJITE MERU SAUVARN PADMA PUSHPVAT !!

‘O’ Muni! Meru is situated in the middle of the Khandas as Bharat between Jamboo Dweep like a golden coloured lotus flower.

In Mahabharat Shanti Parv an account of journey performed by the famous yogi Saint Sukdev from Sumeru to Bharat Varsh has been written.

MEROR HARESHCHA DWAI VARSHE, VARSHE HEMVAT TATAH
KRAMENAV VYATIKRAMYA BHARATAM VARSH MASDAT
SA DESHAN VIVIDHAN PASHYAMAS CHA CHEEN HOON NISHEVITAN.

Explanation: Father of Sukdev, Maharshi Krishna Dwaipayam Vyas asked his son to see king Videh (Janak) in India. He travelled on foot from Sumeru. In the way he found Meru and Hari Varsh and then Hemvat Varsh (Afganistan). In this order he visited different countries like China and Hoons.

AN INTERESTING STORY ABOUT ILAVRIT OR IRAN

In several scriptures a story about Goddess Uma or Parvati is well known. On arrival of Parvati at Jyoti Sthal mountain Sumeru, She demanded to her Husband Shankar that He may kindly allow the whole region to her. Shankar agreed and gave Her the whole area. Parvati told now onward no male person will enter this region. Still if he enters the territory his sex will be changed immediately to that of a female. We do not know the reality of this mystery, but every Irani is called in such a way that in Hindu it sounds as queen or Begum or Rani.

GREATEST MYSTERY OF TWIN MANIFESTATION NOW REVEALED

one year before this humble soul was studying Bhavishya Puran in search of some material. When I opened its inner cover on which two Shloks were referred from Sreemad Bhagvat Puran. These Shloks are the part of prayer from Mahrishi Markandeya to Bhagwan Nar Narayan the twin persons of Bhagwan Vishnu. These Shloks have been referred from Bhagwat XIIth Skandh, VIIIth chapter shlok Nos. 47 to 49. Reproduced below:-

A PRAYER TO BHAGWAN NAR-NARAYAN

TASMAY NAMO BHAGWATE PURUSHAY BHOOMNE VISHWAY
VISHWA GURUVE PAR DEVTAYE !
NARAYANEY RISHAYE CHA NARROTAMAY HANSAY
SANYATGIRE NIGAMESHWARAY !!
YADDARSHANAM NIGAM ATAMRAH PRAKASHAM
MUHAYANTI YATRA KAVYOAJAPRA YATANAM
TAM SARVA VAD VISHAYA PRATI ROOP SHEELAM
VANDE MAHAPURUSH MATMNI GOODHBODHAM!!
(Shreemad Bhagwat 12/8/47 – 49)

Mahrishi Markandeya Ji says – ‘O’ Bhagwan! You are Omniscient, omnipresent, all shaped., world teacher, super worshipped and pure shaped. All worldly and divine knowledge are under your possession. You are the Commencer of the path of the knowledge of God. (Ved Marg) I bow down before your twin figures of the best man Nar and super Saint Narayan.
‘O’ God the full knowledge of your interview has been given in Vedas which unveils the mystery of your figures. Great learned like Brahma trying to find out and get are involved in attachment. You are really such an Actor that the followers of different religions whatever think and imagine about your person get the same figure and attributes as you appear before them. In fact you are hidden in the figure and attributes is purely a Science collection (Vigyan Ghan) ‘O’ Purshottam I bow down before you both.

A REFERENCE ABOUT REBIRTH IN SREEMAD BHAGWAT PURAN

It is a general belief in Hinduism that every human being after leaving this world will again come in this world or rebirth will take place. This is a wrong conception and against the theory of Scriptures. Actually this has so far been misunderstood. Of course, the REBIRTH takes place but in the other spiritual world and not in this world. The idea given in the Geeta is the same that every soul is immortal and changes its clothes (Body) but not the body of this mortal world.

A reference has been found in Bhagwat Puran in XII Skandh 4th chapter in shlok 34 and 35. This supports Bahá'í theory.

NITYADA SARV BHOOTANAM BRAHMADEENA PARANTAP !
UTPATI PRALAYAVEKE SOOXMGYAH SAMPRACHACHHATE !!34!!

KALSROTOJAVENASHU HWIYAMANASYA NITYADA !
PARINAMINAMVSTHASTA JANM PRALAY HETVAH !!35!!

‘O’ troubles creator to enemies! Some micrologist learned and have opinion that Brahma and other Creator’s birth and death takes place at every moment. !!34!!

Similar to a flow of a river or light flame of a candle (chirag) which changes at every moment. Similarly human body due to passing of time looses its age and strength. Thus a human body condition too take birth and die daily at each and every moment.

The idea behind it is that every thing of this mortal world transformed in a new shape in every moment. So leaving previous shape is known as death and taking a new shape is known as birth.

ONENESS OF RELIGION SIMILIZED WITH SACRED RIVER GANGA

It is a matter of great importance that in Hindu Scriptures. Oneness of the religion has very well defined comparing it with the most sacred river Ganga. In Brahma Puran and Skand Puran the sacred Ganga has enormously been praised. The concept has so far not been understood by Hindu learner’s. At several places it is very clear that whatever narrated for Ganga is actually not a river of merely water but a river of knowledge of God or Religion.

It is apparent that there is a great spiritual administration for giving religion to the mankind. In Hindu scriptures the Super Power of almighty God has been divided in three great God the trinity according to their division of the responsibilities they have been assigned. First of all there is BHAGWAN BRAHMA Who has been entrusted with the work of CREATION that’s why He is called KARTAR or CREATOR. The other work is of protecting, surviving and providing which is most important this work has been entrusted to a great DEV BHAGWAN VISHNU. THE LITERAL MEANING OF Vishnu is the Master of Universe or Vishwa. This may be a matter of great interest that Vishnu is exact a literal translation of the famous spiritual divine power RUB-UL-ALAM. It is very well established in the Holy Quran that RUB-UL-ALAM has sent prophets and great Messengers in the world. We will throw light on this aspect later on. The third divine spiritual power is BHAGWAN SHIV, SHANKER OR SHAMBHU . Who has been entrusted with the work of destroying or demolition. Every person or a material structure is required to be ended having a certain life.

How we will explain the powers and main work of Bhagwan Vishnu Who is actually the establisher of religion on the earth. In order to exercise this job He is required to send some great messenger responding Him. Sometimes He Himself is required to be manifested revealing His (enormous) ? divine powers in a human body. This has very well defined and explained by Bahá'u'lláh in His Kitáb-i-Iqán The book of Certitude. This concept has been well defined in most of the Hindu Scriptures particularly in Vedas and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta by Bhagwan Krishna Himself.

In Skand Puran this mystery has been explained. Bhagwan Vishnu in pursuance of the fulfillment of His job divided Himself in two divine personalities of Bhagwan NAR and NARAYAN. They are described as the twin sons of Dharm and Mother Murti which seems to be the symbolized persons. So Both Nar-Narayan the most Great Saints have been assigned their head quarter the well known “BADRIKASHRAM” which is not in heaven but on this earth in the middle of the greatest sacred series of the mountain. In our previous article we have located it as SUMERU GIRI now known as the ELBURZ mountain the Hindi translation of which is VIPUL or very big or high. This can be located near the famous mountain DAMAVAND in Iran. This particular place is not visible for ordinary human beings.

It is extremely sure that this is the same very place which has been shortly mentioned by Bahá'u'lláh in the second part of the ‘Book of Certitude’ the great souls (Prophets) are sent down from an invisible inhabitant. With the help of the Hindu scriptures we can very firmly proclaim that this invisible inhabitant mentioned by Bahá'u'lláh is Badrikashram near Damavand which is really the most sacred mountain Kailash in Sumeru and not in the Himalaya as commonly believed by the Hindus. One more hidden place is Kalap Village which also seems to be near the Badrikashram is near by Damavand. It is believed that Vedas were given to Bhagwan Brahma but LOK VEDA or NIGAM perhaps the changing part of Vedas (Knowledge of God) was assigned to Nar-Narayan.

Therefore the river of knowledge of God here means the ever changing knowledge of God and divine laws which are essentially required for the ever changing progressing human society. therefore it is symbolically mentioned that this Ganga rises from the sacred feet of Bhagwan Vishnu. Bhagwan Brahma took this water of knowledge in His Kamandal (a long pot usually kept by the saints for filling drinking water). After taking this sacred water Brahma got all the four Vedas. This is the reason why Brahma is mentioned a great God having four heads which is nothing but the symbol of four Vedas. These Vedas were the eternal knowledge of God. After receiving it Brahma wanted to pour it on the earth but it was denied by the mother EARTH.

The mother goddess Earth Herself prayed to Brahma not to pour the water on Her. She told, “O thou Bhagwan Brahma I am not so far capable of bearing the heavy force of the flowing water.” She requested Brahma to kindly pray to Bhagwan Shankar or Shiv as He is the only capable person to bear the heavy force of its flow. Bhagwan Shanker accepted the request and asked Brahma to pour water on His head. There is a very common story about the coming of Ganga from heaven and falling on the head of Shanker. Bhagwan Shankar kept this Holy water in His matted hair without allowing to drop it on the earth.

What did happen to the Holy Ganga is a matter of understanding the real idea of this story. After waiting for some time when earth beceme capable of bearing the heavy weight He divided this stream in three parts one for each loka i.e. Asur Lok, Dev Lok, and Manav Lok. So when we recite the prayers for Ganga we call her TRILOKAVRITA and TRIPATHGAMINI which means covering three lokas or part of human inhabitants. Asur where Asur used to live, the other Dev Lok where Devas, Yax, Kinner, Gandharva and Nag tribes live in one lok. The third one is Manav where the human beings pertaining to Manu live. This is a geographical division of different countries of the prehistoric period. Lateron these three streams of Ganga were further divided in to seven streams. Ganga is now called SAPT GANGA. If we take as a river of water Ganga is flowing in India only and there is only one stream right from beginning to end where it falls in the ocean near the bay of Bengal. The river has not covered three lokas as described. This is a matter of research and understanding the underlying idea hidden in the story.

If we refer the scriptures we see that Vedas or Knowledge of God has also been mentioned as seven Voices. Similarly seven Horses are told in the chariot of the Aditya the Sun God. The question arises what are these seven. These can be nothing but seven great religions of the entire world. All these religions are therefore parts of one religion like one holy Ganga the river of the divine knowledge.

The word Bahá'í is actually a Persian word means followers of the glory of God which is the name of religion also. But if we pronounce this world Bahá'í to a Hindi speaking person it seems that GANGA BAHÁ’I or to make flow. Undoubtedly this is the mystery of the Sacred holy Ganga made to flow by Bhagwan Vishnu on the earth. This is the mystery of the name of our world religion as BAHÁ'I Hindi meaning of which is river made to flow by God which is symbolized with sacred river Ganga.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ALL THE SEVEN STREAMS OF GANGA

There is another wonderful story of Ganga in Brahma Puran. Samudra (Ocean) himself prays to Ganga in the following words:
“If you meet me in one stream I will not be able to bear your unbearable force, I pray to you that you kindly meet me in seven streams.”

Ganga accepted the request the and asked Samundra to bring all the seven RISHEES including their wives. Gangas divided herself in seven streams and met with the sea. Thew place where this event occurred is called SAMUDRA TEERTH or IRAN and IRAQ.

The secret behind the above story is nothing but meeting of all the seven religions to the Ocean of human beings where the existence of all the seven branches of one religions are going to be merged in one religion as it was in the beginning.

This is the greatest purpose of revelation of our Bahá'í religion the most important is the Unity of religions for which the Almighty has planned thousand years before. We Bahá'í must have a strong confidence that unity of religions must be established through Bahá'í Faith only. This is the mystery of the divine river of knowledge of God. Brahma Puran says that even by reciting ‘Ganga word’ the peoples of the world would be tremendously benefited. This prediction is for BAHÁ’I only.

Some excerpts from the Baha’i Writings

God's Love:
O Son of Man! Veiled in My immemorial being and in the ancient eternity of My essence, I knew My love for thee; therefore I created thee, have engraved on thee Mine image and revealed to thee My beauty.
from the Hidden Words of Bahá'u'lláh

Unity:
Each sees in the other the beauty of God reflected in the soul, and finding this point of similarity, they are attracted to one another in love... This love will bring the realization of true accord, the foundation of real unity.
from 'Abdu'l-Bahá in Paris Talks

Obligatory Prayer
I bear witness, O my God, that Thou hast created me to know Thee and to worship Thee. I testify, at this moment, to my powerlessness and to Thy might, to my poverty and to Thy wealth. There is none other God but Thee, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.
Bahá'u'lláh

Short Prayer for Guidance
O God, guide me, protect me, illumine the lamp of my heart and make me a brilliant star. Thou art the Mighty and the Powerful.
'Abdu'l-Bahá

Purpose of the Baha’i Faith

The principle of the Oneness of Mankind is the pivot around which all the teachings of Baha'u'llah revolve. Baha'u'llah taught that humanity, after a long and turbulent adolescence, is at last reaching a stage of maturity in which unity in a global and just society finally can be established. To this end, the Baha'i Faith prescribes laws of personal morality and behavior, as well as social laws and principles, to establish the oneness of humanity.

Sanctity of Baha'i Elections

“...the arrival of Bahá'u'lláh and His companions in the Najibiyyih Garden outside the city of 213 Baghdad, subse-quently referred to by the Bahá'ís as the Garden of Ridvan. This event, which took place thirty-one days after Naw-Ruz, in April 1863, signalized the commencement of the period during which Bahá'u'lláh declared His Mission to His companions. In a Tablet, He refers to His Declaration as "the Day of supreme felicity" and He describes the Gar-den of Ridvan as "the Spot from which He shed upon the whole of creation the splendors of His Name, the All-Merciful".
Bahá'u'lláh spent twelve days in this Garden prior to de-parting for Istanbul, the place to which He had been ban-ished. The Declaration of Bahá'u'lláh is celebrated annu-ally by the twelve-day Ridvan Festival, described by Shoghi Effendi as "the holiest and most significant of all Bahá'í festivals"
In the Kitab-i-Aqdas Bahá'u'lláh Writes:
“Verily, all created things were immersed in the sea of pu-rification when, on that first day of Ridvan, We shed upon the whole of creation the splendors of Our most excellent Names and Our most exalted Attributes
(Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 47)
“... I do not feel it to be in keeping with the spirit of the Cause to impose any limitations upon the freedom of the be-lievers to choose those of any race, 10 nationality or temperament, who best combine the essential qualification for membership of administrative institutions. They should disregard personalities and concentrate their attention on the qualities and requirements of office, without prejudice, passion or partially. The Assembly should be representa-tive of the choicest and most varied and capable elements in every Bahá'í community."
“To be able to make a wise choice at the election time, it is necessary for him to be in close and continued contact with all of his fellow -- believers, to keep in touch with local activities, be they teaching, administrative or otherwise, and to fully and whole-heartedly participate in the affairs of the local as well as national committees and Assemblies in his country. It is only in this way that a believer can develop a true social consciousness, and acquire a true sense of responsibility in matters affecting the interests of the Cause. Bahá'í community life thus makes it a duty for every loyal land faithful believer to become an intelligent, well -- informed and responsible elector, and also gives him the opportunity of raising himself to such a station. And since the practice of nomination hinders the development of such qualities in the believers, and in addition leads to corruption and partisanship, it has to be entirely discarded in a Bahá'í elections."
“On the election day the friends must whole-heartedly participate in the elections, in unity and amity, turning their hearts to God, detached from all things but Him, seeking His guidance and supplicating His aid and bounty”
"... the elector... is called upon to vote for none but those whom prayer and reflection have inspired him to uphold. Moreover, the practice of nomination, so detrimental to the atmosphere of a silent and prayerful election, is viewed with mistrust, inasmuch as it gives the right,... to deny that God-given right of every elector to vote only in favor of those who he is conscientiously convinced are the most worthy candidates”
