This academic year the Mona School celebrated its silver jubilee. The Mona School imparts education to more than 800 children of Satara city and its suburbs. This Baha'i inspired school is known for its high morals and discipline. The silver jubilee celebration was attended by thousands of parents, well wishers, and alumni of the school. It was a milestone in the path of the school's progress. On this occasion a souvenir was released which contained glimpses of school activities and reviews from the students, parents, school officials, and city dignitaries.
In 2010 all fifty students who appeared for the STD Xth State board exam secured distinction and high distinction ranks. This success broke all past records and achieved position on the State Board merit list. For the last 12 years, 100% of the students have passed this exam. The news of this achievement was carried by all the local newspapers. Eleven students of Mona School were awarded government scholarship and were on the Maharashtra state ranking list. Two students received the National Scholarship award in the National Talent Search Exam. One student won the National TV Cultural Programme. Two students achieved state level championship in the field of sports. In its recent inspection by the Education Department, the Mona School has been awarded 'Ideal School' distinction and has received first prize for the Most Clean School.
The school emphasizes its moral and peace education curriculum for its primary section and junior youth spiritual empowerment programme for its secondary section, as well as its Sunday moral classes. This activity is liked by the students and appreciated by the parents. The Mona School is developing a new project at the outskirts of Satara for strengthening environmental awareness, moral capabilities, and community service in children. The new project will start during the next academic year and will be a boon to the children andjunior youth of our school and nearby villages and the city.
The school has developed a very interactive and informative website( www.monaschool.com) to cater to the needs of students, parents, and alumni of the school.

My wife and I would like to congratulate the Mona school on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee. The outstanding reputation that the school has both in the moral training and academic standing is truly wonderful. The school and its students are a perfect example and source of light for all schools and parents everywhere.
Kind Regards and keep up the excellent work.
